About WEDEAQ

WEDEAQ Scandinavia AB is a Swedish consulting company specializing in quality management and quality development in the automotive business according to requirements in IATF 16949 and based on methods from VDA QMC and AIAG. We have more than a decade of experience in the field and are the official licensed partner of VDA QMC in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

We provide expert-led training, internal audits, consulting services, and translated VDA publications to support manufacturers in meeting international automotive quality standards. Our services are designed for companies across Scandinavia and the Baltic region – including Estonia – that aim to improve their quality systems, prepare for certification, and enhance process performance.

Based on our business idea, our development plan and literature published by our license providers in Germany VDA QMC, we currently perform training, consultation, audits and publication of litterature in Swedish within the following competence areas:

VDA 6 Product & Process audits

Process audits using VDA 6.3 provide you with a standardized tool for audits of internal product realization processes or suppliers. Based on product audits using 6.5, the “right” product/process can be prioritized. Quality requires competence.

Quality management system; IATF 16949

Managing the business according to a management system based on IATF 16949 involves process strategy, monitoring of impact and efficiency, and active leadership. Quality requires competence.

Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, FMEA

In 2019, the automotive industry revised the accepted method for risk analyses, FMEA. With the new approach, the support for continuous improvement and minimisation of risk to products and/or processes has been improved. Quality requires competence.

Core Tools

Core Tools is a collective name for several established methods and working methods for improvement, streamlining and reduction of losses in processes. We train you and can examine your management system to ensure processes for the use of Core Tools. Quality requires competence.

Product Safety and Conformity Management (PSCR)

With a focus on product integrity (product safety AND compliance), PSCR, it is possible as a supplier to streamline processes AND meet the legal requirements required for a vehicle on public roads. The role of the PSCR can be integrated into an existing management system without increasing costs. Quality requires competence.

Maturity Level Assurance, MLA

Monitoring of project status and ensuring that all tasks required in a project are completed in a timely manner in relation to the level of risk, leads to less work after project completion and handover to production (PPAP/VDA 2). THAT’S Maturity Level, MLA. Quality requires competence.

As licensed partner to the German automotive institute VDA QMC, we provide (translated) standards and manuals, consultancy, trainings and audit knowledge to the automotive market (i e suppliers and OEM manufacturers mainly) within the Scandinavian countries. Our main task is to offer products that are required by or related to the automotive quality management system requirements IATF 16949, but it may also include products that are provided as training or manual by VDA QMC. Further information is given in “Products/Services” and “Development Plan” concerning current anf future coming products and services.
