Corporate and open education in IATF 16949

In September 2016, due to our close cooperation with VDA QMC in Germany, which is the largest accreditation body in Europe, we were assigned the task of translating and distributing the (then) new pre-standard IATF 16949 standard. We translated it in the autumn of 2016 and have been printed since January 2017 and distributed about 1,000 copies on the Swedish market.

We dare to say that we can make this standard through the translation work and through our work as 3-party auditors with IATF 16949. We know how the standard should be interpreted and therefore provide open education in internal audit and supplier audit. We also deliver on-demand training in IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 and we work with a training in process ownership.

One of the new requirements of IATF 16949 is requirements for process owners (which are not required in ISO 9001). This requirement, together with other requirements, forms a PDCA thinking that is well utilized is very powerful, but which requires a relatively far-reaching knowledge that is not easy to acquire on its own.
