This 6th edition from 2020 improves alignment with the PPA procedure so that the organization and the customer can jointly define the scope, content, and schedule of the procedure in a simpler manner.<\/p>\n
The elimination of conformity assurance levels (PSW in the PPAP procedure) has now been implemented in order to better adapt the procedure to customer differences with regard to individual expectations, product variability, and the diversity of documentation.<\/p>\n
Based on previous experience, the procedure now focuses to a greater extent on the organization\u2019s own responsibility to ensure that all required documentation is prepared.
