Effective Core Tools - Risk-based Process Control
Several of the best known quality methods have been around for a long time. Statistical Process Control The SPC was developed in the 1930s. Error effect analysis FMEA has been around for more than 60 years. Ford developed the concept of control plans in the mid-1970s and the measurement system analysis of the MSA became known in the 1980s with Six Sigma. These four methods together with “Structured Product Development – APQP” and “Process Approval – PPAP” were merged in the 1990s and became “Core Tools” in connection with the production of the management systems QS 9000 and ISO / TS 16949.
With the (relatively speaking) new approaches “Risk management” and PDCA in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949: 2016, we have now developed a new concept “Effective Core Tools – ECT” which means that you better understand the meaning of design of good control plans (Control Plans) and how their content can be based on risk management in an efficient and effective manner.
